EDCOM EDU FEST National English Debate Competition 2016

EDCOM EDU FEST National English Debate Competition 2016 is a national English debate competition for university students held by EDCOM FIB UNS. This debate competition gives an opportunity for talented debaters to show their intelligence and persuasive capability against other debaters. The debate competition also gives opportunities for the participants to learn more about debate through each session of the debate competition. Using British Parliamentary System Debate, this competition will be held on 2^nd-4^th September 2016 (3 days) at FIB UNS.

Total prize for the winners is IDR 8 M.

·         1^st place                :              IDR 3.000.000,-

·         2^nd place               :              IDR 2.000.000,-

·         3^rd place                :              IDR 1.500.000,-

·         4^th place                :              IDR 1.000.000,-

·         Best speaker          :              IDR    500.000,-

Participants:

1. Participants should be active university students (Batch 2014 or 2015).
2. Each team consists of two debaters and one N1. 
3.   Each university is allowed to send no more than three teams. 

• The first two teams will be in the main list, and the other will be in the waiting list. The main list and waiting list teams are announced two weeks after the registration day in this blog.

The registration information:

1. ·         The registration is open from 11^th July to 18^th August 2016.
2. ·        Participants should complete the registration form, downloadable here.
3. ·         Complete the registration form and sent it to debate.eef@gmail.com

•  The student card copy must be attached.

• Here is the format of file name of registration form and the email subject: REGISTRATION_Campus Name. For instance: REGISTRATION_Universitas Sebelas Maret. 

 4. Registration fee (IDR 600,000) should be transferred to

•  Account Number             : 900-00-2014167-8

• Account Holder                 : Yuniar Mega Andani

•  Bank                                : MANDIRI

·         5. The scan of the transfer receipt/slip and the registration form accompanied with 3x4 photograph should be sent to debate.eef@gmail.com

• E-mail subject: TRANSFER-RECEIPT_Name of Leader_Campus_Team^(*). For example:  TRANSFER-RECEIPT_Miranda_ Universitas Sebelas Maret_Team-A.

·         We will announce 32 fixed teams at http://edcom.fib.uns.ac.id on 20^th  August 2016.

·         Please take a note that the accommodation is not included.
